About MeI am passionate about people and education, which led me to teaching. I love to learn and have fun and believe that those two things should never be mutually exclusive! I love to travel and consequently have experience teaching in three different countries! (Canada, Mexico and Malawi, Africa) I love variety and challenging myself - I have taught, student taught or substitute taught virtually every subject and at every grade level from kindergarten through grade twelve. I have worked at summer camps for inner city youth in California (challenging) and been the Program Manager at a Camp in Alberta, where I planned and implemented summer camps and worked with youth from grades one through twelve, and staff ages 15-25. I really enjoy great food and love to host barbecues and events where I can share my culinary skills and unique ethnic food experiments! |
